About Me
Hi, I’m Mackenzie - Mack for short! Gardens by Mack grew from a simple idea: growing your own food should feel fun, not intimidating. I want to help make kitchen gardening more approachable for people who love the idea of stepping outside your backdoor to pick fresh herbs, tomatoes or veggies but aren’t quite sure where to start or simply don’t have the time to manage it all themselves.
I’m not a professional horticulturist - just an enthusiastic home gardener who fell in love with the fun and chaos of growing vegetables at home and figuring out what actually works in our Dallas heat. Think of me less as a gardening expert and more as your kitchen garden concierge and fellow gardener who’s learned through plenty of gardening successes and failures.
Before Gardens by Mack, I worked professionally in project management, so planning, coordinating and problem solving are very much my thing. I bring the same organized, start-to-finish approach to creating and caring for kitchen gardens - just with a lot more dirt involved.
With Gardens by Mack, I handle the details so you can skip the overwhelming part and get straight to enjoying your garden and the harvests it provides. I’d love to help you grow something of your own!

A complete turnkey design and build for your new kitchen garden. Pricing dependent on size, materials and needs.
This includes full project management of subcontractors required so you don't need to lift a finger.
